Homophobia is gay

I often hear teenage boys screaming out to one another, “Suck my cock you faggot!” Strangely enough, this never offends me but just makes me chuckle instead. Boys demanding fellatio from other boys doesn’t make them gay. However, performing fellatio does. What I do find offensive is when I also hear teenagers, not just the boys but the girls too, say that anything they think is remotely stupid is “gay”.
Here’s a mostly harmless true story for you: a few weeks ago, as I was waiting for the train to arrive at the Peel metro station here in Montreal, I overheard two young women in their early twenties having a mild argument. One of the ladies was trying to convince her friend that she had valid reasons for not wanting to befriend some people they knew in one of their classes. She started off by saying that they had nothing in common. When this wasn’t a good enough reason, she just came right out and bluntly said it’s because they’re gay. While I appreciated her honesty, her friend did not.
I mean, there are valid reasons for hating gay people. And there are also valid reasons for hating straight people. The thing is you need to get past people’s sexuality in order to find REAL reasons to hate. If you hate gay people simply because they’re gay that’s just narrow-minded. If you take the time to really get to know some gay people and hate them anyway, well bravo, you now hate outside your box.
To help you further hate outside your box, I’ve listed what I think are valid reasons to hate gay people.
1. If you fall on the ice in winter time and gay people point and laugh.
2. If you’re about to eat your dessert and gay people pick in your plate without asking.
3. If you always lend money to gay people and they never pay you back.
4. If you have to wait for gay people because they’re always late.
5. If gay people only talk about themselves and never ask anything about you.
6. If gay people bite their nails and spit them across the room.
7. If gay people only want to hang out with other gay people.
8. If gay people are racist, sexist, and prejudiced against other minorities in the LGBT community.
9. If gay people don’t recycle.
10. If you have sex with gay people but they always roll over and fall asleep without satisfying your needs.
Remember kiddies, it’s time to start hating outside your box. In other words, homophobia is gay.
I used to get upset when friends at school would say that something was gay when they meant it was lame.. but then they explain to me it was just an expression like any other one, that even their gay friends were saying that.
Then I asked how many gay friends they had. One. Oh right okay.
From there I started to reply to make it straight.
Bob: Oh that idea is so gay!
Me: That’s true Bob, just make it straight!
Maybe it will be a new trend some day huhu
