Over the years with some girlfriends, I could use the bathroom while they were in the shower, coming out of the shower, brushing their teeth, putting on their makeup…you get the idea; while with others, I was issued a restraining order until they were completely done with the facilities.
I even have a list of friends with whom I can speak with on the phone while I’m on the toilet and ones with whom it’s absolutely forbidden upon threat of hanging up on me.
Which leads to me la question du jour: Is it ok to see your partner on the toilet?

I would argue that some things are ok while others are not. Or more importantly while sharing the long bathroom, there comes a time over 10+ years that you will see the GF pee, however some activities should remain hidden for a reason. Hearing your beloved straining is just NOT sexy…
And as long as I don’t hear you on the phone, we’re A-OK
